ROMANTIC NEST
In the heart of the Amalfi Coast, in Cetara, an ancient seaside village suspended between the sea and the mountains, lies this 120 sqm apartment with a 130 sqm terrace. An interior architecture project that captures the essence of this extraordinary landscape, transforming every corner into a tribute to contemporary design without abandoning the tradition of the place.
The concept behind the project is to create an open and luminous space where the living area becomes the heart of the home. The kitchen, originally positioned at the entrance, has been moved to a protruding room facing the sea, offering spectacular views and direct access to the terrace. The dining area and the living room blend into an open space dominated by white tones and the natural wood of oak. The ceiling, entirely covered in hand-painted tiles from the historic Solimene factory in Vietri, becomes a suspended work of art, while the natural wood flooring breaks the rigidity of the spaces and adds warmth.
Every detail is carefully designed to balance elegance and functionality, such as the tobacco oak sliding screen that separates the living area from the sleeping zone, or the kitchen, designed as a white box where the blue of the sea and traditional ceramics merge in perfect harmony.
The terrace is where the house fully opens to the panoramic view, with a tiered design that separates the different functions: kitchen, dining area, and relaxation zone. Teak covers the entire surface, reminiscent of a ship's deck, while a small whirlpool bath provides a pure relaxation spot with a sea view.
Every space is designed as a fusion of modernity and tradition, where materials and forms meet to create an exclusive and timeless environment, perfectly in tune with the magic of the Amalfi Coast.
